Maria-Elisabeth Lott gilt international als eine der besten deutschen Geigerinnen ihrer Generation und begeistert auf der Bühne mit ihrer Spielfreude, ihrer natürlichen und intensiven Musikalität und ihrer makellosen Technik.

Seit ihrem US-Debüt im Alter von dreizehn Jahren konzertiert sie weltweit als Solistin mit Orchestern wie dem London Philharmonic Orchestra, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Residentie Orkest Den Haag, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, China National Orchestra, BBC Manchester Symphony Orchestra und arbeitet mit Dirigenten wie Fabio Luisi, Jaap van Zweden, Mario Venzago, John Nelson, Kirill Petrenko, Jonathan Nott oder Daniel Harding zusammen. Neben ihrem solistischen Spiel ist Maria-Elisabeth Lott als begeisterte Kammermusikerin bekannt und ist regelmäßig Gast bei den bedeutendsten internationalen Kammermusikfestivals. Dort musiziert sie mit Künstlerpersönlichkeiten wie u.a. Emanuel Borok, Sontraud Speidel, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Christianne Stotijn, Julien Quentin, Reinhold Friedrich und Bobby McFerrin.

Im Laufe ihrer Karriere wurde Maria-Elisabeth Lott mit zahlreichen Preisen ausgezeichnet, u.a. mit dem Karlsruher Kulturstipendium 2014 und dem Bruno-Frey-Preis 2013. Sie erhielt den ersten Lichtenberger Musikpreis der Stiftung Herfried Apel, den Musikförderpreis des Kulturfonds Baden und den "Prix d'éspoir" der Europäischen Kulturstiftung. Maria-Elisabeth Lott spielte live für Radio- und Fernsehsender in ganz Europa, beispielsweise dem ARD, ZDF, Deutschlandradio Kultur, 3Sat, BBC, sowie für Radiosender in den USA und Kanada.

1998 gewann sie einen vom Mozarteum Salzburg ausgeschriebenen Wettbewerb und wurde ausgewählt, mit Mozarts Kindergeige ihre Debut-CD bei EMI Classics mit dem Mozarteum Orchester Salzburg und Sontraud Speidel mit Werken von Mozart aufzunehmen.

Ihre musikalische Ausbildung erhielt Maria-Elisabeth Lott seit ihrem vierten Lebensjahr bei Prof. Josef Rissin. Bereits mit acht Jahren begann sie ihr Vorstudium an der Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe. Nach Abschluss ihres Bachelor- und Masterstudiums legte sie 2015 ihr Solistenexamen mit Auszeichnung ab.
Seit April 2017 unterrichtet sie als Professorin an der Hochschule für Musik Detmold.

Maria-Elisabeth Lott is internationally recognized as one of the best german violinists of her generation, she enthuses audiences with her natural and intensive musicality and her absolute immaculate technique.

Since her US-Debut at the age of thirteen she performed with many of the world's most celebrated orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Residentie Orkest The Hague, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, China National Orchestra, BBC Manchester Symphony Orchestra, and collaborated with conductors of the highest level including Fabio Luisi, Jaap van Zweden, Mario Venzago, John Nelson, Kirill Petrenko, Jonathan Nott and Daniel Harding.

Besides her soloistic playing Maria-Elisabeth Lott is also known as a dedicated chamber musician and appears regularly at the most significant international chamber music festivals. Among her chamber music partners are Emanuel Borok, Sontraud Speidel, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Christianne Stotijn, Reinhold Friedrich, Julien Quentin and Bobby McFerrin.

During her career Maria-Elisabeth Lott received prestigious awards, including the Karlsruher Kulturstipendium 2014 and the Bruno-Frey-Prize 2013. She was awarded the first Lichtenberger Music Prize of the Foundation Herfried Apel, the Musikförderpreis of Kulturfonds Baden and she received the "Prix d'éspoir" of the European Foundation for Culture. Maria-Elisabeth Lott has performed live for numerous radio and television stations across Europe including ARD, ZDF, Deutschlandradio Kultur, 3sat, SWR, BBC, Swiss Radio and for radio stations in the USA and Canada.

In 1998 she won the competition of the Mozarteum Salzburg to play Mozart's youth violin. With this violin she made her debut recording for EMI Classics collaborating with the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg and Sontraud Speidel with works of Mozart.

At the young age of four Maria-Elisabeth Lott began her musical studies with Prof. Josef Rissin and already four years later she entered the University of Music Karlsruhe as a young student. After she completed the final degrees of Bachelor, Master and soloistic exam, she successfully graduated with highest distinction in 2015.
Since April 2017 she is professor for violin at the University of Music in Detmold.

Au niveau international Maria-Elisabeth Lott compte parmi les meilleures jeunes violonistes allemandes. Depuis ses débuts aux États-Unis à l'âge de treize ans, elle donne des concerts avec des orchestres internationaux en Europe, aux États-Unis et en Asie, comme l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Londres, l'Orchestre Symphonique de Dallas, le Residentie Orkest de La Haye, l'Orchestre Symphonique de la BBC Écosse, L'Orchestre Symphonique de Singapour, l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Malaisie, l'Orchestre National de Chine, l'Orchestre Symphonique de la BBC de Manchester et travaille avec des chefs d'orchestre comme Fabio Luisi, Jaap van Zweden, Mario Venzago, John Nelson, Kirill Petrenko, Jonathan Nott ou Daniel Harding. Au cours de ses tournées de concerts étendues elle rencontrait entre autres Lang Lang, Cecilia Bartoli, Yehudi Menuhin, Daniel Barenboim, Christoph Eschenbach, Thomas Hampson, Stephane Grappelli, Andrea Bocelli, pour n'en citer que quelques-uns.

La carrière de soliste de Maria-Elisabeth Lott commençait dès l'âge de dix ans, quand elle jouait le concert de violon de Tchaïkovski en soliste avec la Philharmonie des Nations.
En 2000 elle faisait ses débuts aux États-Unis avec l'Orchestre de Minnesota sous la direction de Claus Peter Flor jouant le concerto de violon en sol majeur de Mozart et elle était la soliste lors des concerts d'ouverture de l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Malaisie avec le premier concerto pour violon de Paganini.
Après un concert magistral avec l'Orchestre Philharmonique de la Radio NDR de Hanovre, elle faisait ses débuts à Londres en 2001 avec l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Londres au Royal Festival Hall.

Parallèlement à son activité concertiste en tant que soliste, Maria-Elisabeth Lott est passionnée de la musique de chambre. Parmi ses partenaires de musique de chambre on compte Emanuel Borok, Daniel Müller-Schott, Sontraud Speidel, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Julien Quentin et Bobby McFerrin. Avec eux elle joue à l'occasion de festivals prestigieux en Europe, comme par exemple le Tuscan Sun Festival à Cortona ou le Braunschweig Classix Festival.
En 2014, Maria-Elisabeth Lott se produisait en soliste dans le cadre du festival “Rising Stars”, réalisé pour la première fois et organisé par les Universités de Musique de Karlsruhe, Stuttgart et Fribourg avec le Kammerphilharmonie de Saint-Pétersbourg. A la fin de l'année 2014, elle faisait un enregistrement radio produit par le SWR. En 2015 elle présentera en soliste le concert de violon de Sibelius lors du concert de clôture du festival de Mozart, la nuit de Jupiter, à Wurtzbourg.

Au cours de sa carrière, Maria-Elisabeth Lott recevait de nombreux prix de première catégorie, en 2014 on lui décernait la Bourse de Culture de Karlsruhe et en 2013 le Prix Bruno Frey. Elle recevait le 1er Prix Musical de Lichtenberg de la Fondation Herfried Apel, le Prix Musical de la Fondation Culturelle Baden e.V., le Prix d'Espoir de la Communauté de Promotion Culturelle de l'Économie Européenne et le Prix Eduard Söring de la Fondation Allemande "Musikleben".

Maria-Elisabeth Lott jouait en direct chez des nombreuses stations de radio et de télévision en Europe, comme ARD, ZDF, Deutschlandradio Kultur, 3Sat, SWR, BBC London, Radio Suisse, Radio Néerlandaise et chez des stations aux États-Unis. En 1998 Maria-Elisabeth gagnait le Concours de Présentation du Violon du jeune Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, lancé par le Mozarteum Salzburg. Cet événement unique avec en soliste, l'Orchestre du Mozarteum de Salzbourg et Sontraud Speidel au piano-forte qui jouaient des œuvres de Mozart était enregistré en CD par EMI Classics.

Maria-Elisabeth Lott commençait ses études musicales à l'âge de 4 ans chez le professeur Josef Rissin. A huit ans déjà elle pouvait s'inscrire à l'Université de Musique de Karlsruhe. Après l'achèvement du diplôme de bachelor et de master, elle réussissait en 2015 son examen de soliste avec mention. Pendant ses études, elle travaillait déjà comme assistanat pour violon à l'Université de Musique de Karlsruhe.
